Zoltan!LOL!---- One of the things that no one observes even about Clinton is the shallowness of the poll numbers. Someone calls and says "what do you think of Clinton's handling of the economy"...Things seem good, so he must not be doing anything too wrong...Another positive vote... That doesn't mean that they give him loads of credit, maybe they think that it is good that he has left things to Greenspan or followed the lead of the Republicans in Congress...Maybe they are not sure whom to credit. But why would they say anything against the guy without a strong conviction that he was merely being held back from doing damage? Similarly, they don't know that he has done much right in foreign policy, but they don't know that he has done much wrong. The funny thing is that although a majority still says that Clinton has a better idea about where the country should be going than the Republicans, and say that Gore will continue in that direction, a majority would also prefer Bush or Dole to Gore!!! A ringing endorsement of Clinton? I think not...
