Thanks Jim for your heads up on CPQ. In looking at the chart below, I
notice CPQ has reached a solid price support level at $30. Both the
BB and RSI have a sideways to slight right upward slant which leads
me to believe that there is more upside potential than downside.

With that said, an increase in PUTs activities in the $30 to $32 1/2
only confirms a pending upward rebound. Many people sell PUTs as a
slick way to either earn extra income (opposite tactic compared to
CCing) collecting premies or (if they "PUT IT TO THEM") if they have
to buy the price will be at a discount. Example, they sell a PUT 32
1/2 strike when CPQ is at $31 and collect a heavy 3 1/2. If they PUT
it to them their net cost is $31 - 3 1/2 = $29. Of course, they are
expecting CPQ to increase or move sideways in price which believe it
will.

Those LEAPs CALLs are looking real good Jim!

FROM THE EMAIL CORNER

I got a nice email today from one of the thousands lurkers on this
forum. It read as follows:

I have been reading your thread for several months and I find it
fascinating. I found the only way to try to figure out what you are
teaching is to back and read all 10,000 messages. I am amazed how
active and patient you are to us novices.

I have been trying to use some of your methods and for the three
months I have averaged 11.3% per month return. While we are not
talking about alot of money, since I am following your advice to
start slowly, I am very please by the results.

I would like to get a copy of your WINS program. Thanks again and
keep up the good work. My charity does appreciate your advice
as I do.

That is super! He did it on his own! Thanks for taking the time to
share your good news! It's feedback and input from you folks that
make things happen. I only facilitate the process. Brokerages say
you "can't trust forums like this." Well, I say I have NEVER met a
stock broker who did not have a conflict of interest and could care
less how much money you lost! They are heart less and will jump when
their firm say sell this S..t! In Florida, we have more dangerous
sharks that bite, walk and drive on land! I'm helping a woman at my
church for the past week trying to get back her losses from Dean
Witter! What some people will do to others for money!

re CPQ puts......I do know that they've had a lot of insider selling of late........and people may be shorting and buying puts in response to this.

Herm....how do you monitor this activity with short volume?
