A fool and his money are soon parted. . . I warn others continuously, but the real message I am trying to get across is that all of us must watch out for one another. If you get suckered into buying a lousy 2 dollar watch from a guy on a street corner for 40 bucks. . .and a family member is talking to the same guy about a watch, what are you going to do? You pull them away. Take it a tiny step further. . .your neighbor is now the sucker . . you might be more discrete, but you SHOULD likewise warn your neighbor. When you are elsewhere on SI, or on other websites and you KNOW something about a stock, etc. where everyone is getting suckered, let them know. Don't hang out and be a naysayer, that won't help anyone. But bring your facts and state them clearly. That is all. The SEC is working on their part. But as you say, "Some people are losing mortgage, food and colege money. . .These are families just hoping to get ahead." Notice: If you are following the fishing thread, the ONLY money you should be using is "gambling" money. The same money you would bring to Vegas. NOT REAL money that should go to bills, food, etc. If you cannot stop spending FAMILY money on penny stocks, then you have a problem and should seek professional help. . .Gamblers Anonymous may be the correct place to get such help at little or no cost. I have been around here longer than most and can tell you this. . . I have seen MANY MANY people LOSE EVERYTHING. . . but I cannot tell you the name of ONE person that made a fortune trading the pennies. Rande Is
