I have to go to the mall to see the set. I went to Nokia site, check the 9000i and 9000il, it says $699, it allows internet access, fax, phone, schedule it does not say what size of hard drive or RAM or speed of transmission for internet access, I think it is very handy for business use, I can see the design is very straight to business need, I don't think you can do word processing or play a game or other things that a window OS allowed and I know the battery only last about a year and it costs $169!, for 4 years, it will cost over $1000 without counting the cost of monthly connection fee. I like the design, the convenience part but I don't like the limitation of usage and the screen is too small for my eye. I need a PC that will allow me to play music, watch movie, play interactive game (I am crazy about the interactive GO game!), write letter, send and receive fax, make phone call, write programs with my liked languages, do work from home, use spread sheet for tax, and of course, the internet access, buying/selling stocks online, (did I miss something?), all these for $499 - $599. I know the desktop can do all the functions described above for $399, $499 or $599,(I bought a $699 CPQ with INTC 333/8 G/96 RAM/56K!! last xmas), I also know the laptop can do that too minus the price part. I think I'll wait for the wireless, it is still short of function I need. Hey, I have to admit that I am a bit afraid of this high-tech, I don't know what to do if it breaks, I guess I have to buy an expensive service contract along with it. $399 machine, I don't need service contract, if it breaks, I dump it and buy a new one with better configuration and lower price! Peace.
