my understanding is that hole 99-4 was the vertical one, now they are trying to trace which way is the feeder, and angled holes is the proper approach.

They are vertical as the orebody is lying more or less flat. Thus they very nearly tell the true width and are more economic. to delineate the sides it may be wise to drill angled holes from the same setup.
