Reading suggestion: I highly recommend 2 books by Harry S. Dent "The Roaring 2000's" and if you like that one of his earlier books "The Great Boom Ahead" Although the second is dated it shows that he was right on the mark in most of his thinking regarding the markets. He has a simple premise in that he believes one thing and one thing only drives the equities market, consumer spending. His deductions are interesting and in my opinion his bases for them is sound. jmho MarkC.

I don't know much about Greece - too far away from here. They do have some sympathy with Serbia because they are both Orthodox Christian countries. But Greece's NATO membership outweighs everything else. Except they are the one NATO member not supplying any forces for the bombing raids on Yugoslavia.

I'm sure you could find some of their newspapers online in English.
