Come to think of it. . .

I was in a Toys R Us nearby last year. . .I was certain about the number of items included in a product. The box showed they were included, but since it was the last one of its kind and missing parts, they tried to pawn it off on me. The chain of command right up to the manager on duty sided with the clerk. Needless to say, by the time I left the store, they were doubting their own existence. Never did make an attempt to see my side of the story or agree with me.

So I have applied my own policies to their policies. I save ALL boxes and receipts. . .and you know how often those toys break? Well, each and every time that a toy breaks, I bring it back and get another. I realize that it does not hurt the store financially. But it sets a standard that I expect from now on. Working quite well in fact. . .kids are happier, because they have "lifetime" toys.
