YES ,THE NEW AIRCRAFT ARE MOSTLY 757S ,NOT THE NICE WIDE BODIES,BUT I TRAVELED 6 TIMES IN TWO YEARS WITH THEM AND THEIR ON TIME PERFORMANCE WAS GREAT! SERVICE WAS OK, STAFF WERE VERY NICE AND THEY ALL WANTED TWA TO DO GOOD AS A LOT OF THEM OWN THE STOCK. THEIR HUB IN ST. LOUIS IS WORTH ALOT MORE THAN 6.00 A SHARE. ITS GEOGRAPHICALLY PERFECT FOR A FEW BIG AIRLINES. THE 52 WEEK HIGH AND LOW WERE....3.68-11.25.....PRICE OF 5 1/2 A SHR. IS GOOD INVESTMENT I THINK. BUT OPTIONS FOR THE COMING YEARS AT 5.00,7.50,AND 10.00 ARE GREAT INVESTMENTS IF YOU VENTURE IN OPTIONS FOR LEAPS....STKMN99

TWA's most new aircraft are MD 90s. TWA also has 757s coming. They are getting rid of old 747s and DC9s and replacing them with these new very fuel efficient aircraft. They also save big on maintainence expenses with these new planes. Since Boeing was closing down MD 80, 90 series but wanted to keep McDonell Douglas assembly lines open for a year more, they offered terrific bargain to TWA for MD 90s.

Hope that with new planes, excellent service, better pricing and good economy, TWA will come back strongly.
