I'm getting in here a bit late with a response asking for how GNET can attract (and hold) more eyeballs.

IMO, one sure way would be on enrich the user's experience...for example,

Unique to each SI user, a streaming tape ticker of stocks he's interested in, a single click to a) chart, b) broker, c) news of a stock. Highlight the symbol as it moves, you get the chart, click a radio button on the chart for news or broker. The ticker is active no matter where you are in SI. Delayed for free, extra for RT.

As it goes now for me, I monitor SI threads, have to go elsewhere for
better charts than SI offers, and then elsewhere for my broker. Lots of clicking, and with phone-line modems, it's an eternity now compared to two years ago. (I need to go to cable or ASDL when available).

Humbly report, All, in case anyone wonders about the wisdom and impact of deals such as #reply-8219342 , here you go:

D.G. Jewellery March 1999 Sales of On-line Products Have Increased 100% From February 1999:

go2net.newsalert.com

I humbly expect more deals like this, and also expect them to positively impact the GNET bottom line.

Cheers,

Svejk
