Coffee Culture

You say coffee, I say café. Java. Cup a joe. Used to be only one kind of coffee, and that was black. "Times they are a changin". Nowadays, drinking caffeine has evolved into an art form. Light, Dark, French roasted beans? Kenyan, Jamaican, Tanzanian, or just plain Guatemalan? Amaretto Supreme, Chocolate Macadamia Nut, French Vanilla, Irish Creme? Coffee, Cappucino, Latté, Espresso? Flavored sryups, iced drinks, chocolate-covered espresso beans? And that's just the coffee. Everyone knows you don't go for the coffee. It's the "atmosphere". Is it an old dusty, dim light room with old books and chess pieces, reeking of stale smoke and turkish coffee or, would you prefer a clean, airy, steel and glass environment with art-deco tables and state-of-the-art magazine racks? The choices are yours. Within the last few years, the coffeehouse/cafe craze has left its mark. Each one has its own unique flavor.

this is an interesting post...

there is a lot of financial info
that we don't yet have on MDMI,
but we do know they have 11 stores..
bear with me as I speculate a bit
on all of this..
corrections, comments please...

the article you posted
mentioned McDonalds
was paying 16 to 24 M for 23 coffee stores..
for a value of up to approximately 1M per store

this post showed
that startup cost for a java centrale franchise
was estimated to be 250K-300K
techstocks.com

now if we look at 47M shares for MDMI,
as was posted previously..
assuming that is correct..
a share price of ..08
gives a market cap of roughly 3.6M

if the only MDMI asset being valued
were the stores,
then the market cap would justify
a value per store of about 330K
without any consideration
for the bakery business and products,
or developing ecommerce java business..
would be curious to hear some others
speculate as to the value of the 11 stores

GMCH at .40 and 73M OS
has a market cap of 29M,
no stores yet, and just starting ecommerce,
and some bottled water production..
MDMI at a similar value of 29M would have
a price per share of over .60
thoughts, comments, corrections, feedback anyone?
