Michael,

How very sad are the events in that part of the world. I, too, hope that Andrea one day understands that his/her efforts helped to bring to the world some sense of the true depth of the tragedy that is occurring there.

I also pray that Andrea survives until some semblance of civilized behavior is reestablished.

However, I have serious doubts regarding this administration's skills and commitment to end the bloodshed... even with the convenient "cover" provided by NATO.

Slick (and I must include Mz. Slick, too), Albright and Burger are foreign policy lightweights whose decisions (and lack of action for years despite repeated threats) reflect their gross incompetence and contempt for the US Military.

Yesterday, I heard or read somewhere that Slick was personally involved in selecting potential targets for the next day's bombing runs. He had some member of the military in his office and they were reviewing maps of the area and selecting targets. I'm certain all the field commanders in the battle area greatly appreciated all the help from the white house... really... Oh, Yeah!

Scary, ain't it?

Jim
