Ed i live in LA UMG is in my area. The fixed rate is forty per month for cable initial set up fees 150 my last known figures. My son says they do get bogged up now when he is trying to down load especially during certain times of the day.
Unfortunatly UMG is limited in areas they service. They offer digital phone also in my area.

From my stand point I had thought T would buy out UMG and due to the name familiarity it could of really moved rapidly in the area. I am relatively close to UCLA so i think the assumption was in starting broadband in this area knowledge of high tech would of been coming out of there and subscriber rate equal immediate sign up.

I don't know if this occurred as many who live here are tech thick re broadband.
