Gary, I remember back in 1980 during the big beauty contest on the new EW gear for US fighters, that the one that won the contract, from Watkins-Johnson, was rumored to be compromised before it ever went into a plane. What the hey, nobody knows the secrets except for a few Chinese spies in New Mexico. <g>

I also remember when the govt. built the atomic plant in Livermore, Calif. and they wouldn't allow civilians to visit the facilities due to security considerations. But, when Kruschev came for a visit, he and his entourage got to tour the place. <g> Only in America.
