All it will take is the right trigger...

but what is it? Not analysts "table pounding", not reassurances from partners and chip producers, not gradual accumulation by institutions in the 70-80 dollar range, not short covering.....it has got to be

Intel announcement of Camino ship date. This will end all the speculation and all the nonsense. All the analysts will tune up 2000 and 2001 earnings estimates and reaffirm buy or outperform ratings.

However, we are weeks away from that news. In the meantime, boredom and fun for the shorts as they jack the price around.

sam, at least there are two minds that think alike. Clearly, this is a short attack. But, what the shorts forget is that there are some serious longs in place as well. The institutions holdings continue to grow and the underwriters have to defend RMBS as well. Makes for interesting times.
