There is one bad development in the situation that the market will sure enjoy and melt up. There have been reports (which I haven't seen in the news media for some reason) over the last few days of Ruskie cargo planes flying in and out of a base which could be considered a staging area for Serbia. I just heard some Russian Foreign Ministry official, or something like that, telling CNN that they were about to start sending "humanitarian" aid to the Serbs. Yea, right. So here we go. -ng-

A x-hand rumor on the pilot rescue. 22 Brit SAS were inserted by Jolly Greens supported by F-15s and A-10 Warthogs. Heavy fire was reported which may or may not be true as observers @ Aviano reported support aircraft appeared to return with all air to ground ordnance. So the SAS may have kicked some Serb butt. Anyway, a pretty damn good job of pulling the pilot out from under their noses under bad circumstances (the area is as flat as a pancake.)
