Racso- The comparison should be of future earnings growth, and ROI....price-to-book, price-to-sales have rarely been relevant for comparisons of high-tech growth companies..

P/E ratios are like driving down the highway while looking in your rearview mirror ...tells you where you've been, but doesn't (necessarily) tell you where you are going, or how fast or effeciently you are going to get there......simply hasn't been real effective in judging which stocks are going to appreciate in the short, long-terms...

Wouldn't you agree that P/E (without looking at the corresponding growth rates) are relatively meaningless?...After all, if we are considering P/E, I guess we all should have been in the drillers and small caps last year (what a mistake that would have been)...

Rasco: I think the most impressive and relevant of those statistics is the Price to Sales. CPQ has huge scope for price improvement there.
