Wily, I think Samsung will actually produce some due to the INTC investment, I just don't think its going anywhere. And I don't know what is going through Samsung management's head now, but I speculate they don't like the look of things. Do a search for the article on Direct RDRAM and it will lay everything out quite well. There were many a splendor reasons that it is a dead duck. -g- And I don't think INTC can fish it out of the bottom of the Mariana Trench. That gasoline filled Bathyscaph is in high demand. -g-

Unless, and this is the scary part for Intel, if the DRAM people design apart not needing RAMBUS. If that happen then it is a thing of the past.
