A letter to editor that echoed what you said: Friday, March 26, 1999 Hybrid Food I read that "Genetically Altered Food Products" (letters, March 22) may be bad for me. So, I will no longer eat seedless watermelons, oranges and grapes. And I'll stay away from hybrids such as nectarines and sweet corn since these do not occur in nature.
