Hybrid Food

I read that "Genetically Altered Food Products" (letters,
March 22) may be bad for me. So, I will no longer eat
seedless watermelons, oranges and grapes. And I'll stay away from
hybrids such as nectarines and sweet corn since these do not occur
in nature. Crossing two plants produces a new plant genetically. I
didn't know the result would be bad for me.
