Moral or not this war will last forever, unless...

both side agree to change their religion together. The GODs they believe in, well actually its the same one (which makes the whole thing even more stupid), give people nothing but trouble for the past thousand years. If a CEO of a public company can deal with critical issues, what will you do? You force him/her out! Maybe its time to tell THE GOD to take a break. TAKE A BREAK, WILL YOU?!

How about the non-aggression type of religion such as Buddhism - you don't need a god, or you can have as many gods as you prefer, just pick whoever you like, who cares. In most case it tends to ask "what's wrong with me?" instead of "what's wrong with you?", and this is the key!

How is that?

Some level of perfidy is inevitable in any empire, the US cannot be an exception.
It's an intricate complex process, the ruling of many peoples, there will be mistakes.
We don't have the minutiae of the Roman Empire, but we do have Gibbon -
promo.net

They come, they thrive, they peak, and they fall. Each step has within it the seeds of the next. This would apply as much to the regime Milosevic heads as to the one led by Clinton. I don't think morality has much to do with anything really, other than as a tool for obfuscating the Realpolitik. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was violated almost from the date of its signing, so the United States of America is illegally occupying half of the sovereign state of los Estados Unidos de México. Sure it's immoral. So what? - it works.

For a while.

Nations are incapable of morality or immorality. Individual persons may have morality or act immorally. Moral slogans are merely expressions of individual opinion. A national leader who acts on his impressions of his own morality betrays his country which demands that he look after its interests, not please his private feelings of right and wrong.
It may very well be true that the interests of a democratic nation of free people are best served by conforming to the commonly accepted popular morality.
It is, I believe, true that a dictatorship that acts morally according to the morality of its dictators betrays the real interests of its people. The best thing that has ever happened to the Japanese people as a whole is its losing the Great Pacific War. Someday, Russians will learn that losing the Afghan War was a good thing. Anyone who doubts that the U.S. losing Vietnam was a good thing should think again.
In time, Serbia may learn that this war liberated them from a virulent nationalism, and let them enjoy becoming a free European nation. If you doubt that, check out Slovenia -- the first country to break away from Yugoslavia and resist Serbian aggression.
