The granting of the world wide patent is not only significant to GRNO in itself in my opinion. It represents the faith certain people such as GRNO's attorneys have that they will be compensated for their efforts some day. I think we stockholders owe more than money to these individuals. We owe them our gratitude for demonstrating their faith in the form of such valuable service.

So far this month, oil has climbed $4.56 to $16.80 and is probably overshooting. It is long overdue to take a breather.

I wonder how GRNO did in the month of March.

Here is an interesting comment on Noesis.

Product inventories are at reasonable levels in all regions
except in California as discussed above. There is still plenty
of gasoline east of the Rocky Mountains and no particular
reason for prices to increase other than the fact that
consumers are willing to pay higher prices. Imports of
gasoline, distillate and residual oil decreased this week.

Refiners appear to be taking advantage of the higher product
prices by further refining inventoried distillate to make
gasoline and other lighter products. The reasoning is that it is
now less expensive for them to make gasoline out of their
distillate than to purchase gasoline on the spot market. As a
result, they were able to pull distillate inventories down 5
million barrels to 52.2 million.

That shows how higher gasoline prices translate into higher distillate prices even though the heating season is drawing to a close. Gas went up another three cents yesterday in my town. Heating oil on the NYMEX closed at 44.36 cents yesterday. I can remember several weeks ago when it was under 29 cents and refineries along the Gulf complained that crude cost them more than they could get for distillate.
