sshia....you show me yours...i'll show you mine investing is not about betting, but putting ones money where there mouth is...i have no complaint with ames turnaround from insolvency..it's what america is all about...as far as going forward..you made a bet by shorting dell at 96 (48 post split)...please advise how many shares shorted????" i made a bet by going long 15000 shares dell in the last month with an average cost of 41....so let's see who has more courage of conviction...oh, i'm not on margin...so short/near term dips fail to rattle me.. gain experience in resiliency of issues and markets.....how old were you during the double digit inflation of the carter administration...do you have memories of being in the womb, as your mother waited on odd numbered days for hours in gas lines during the arab oil embargo...did your parents know each other as high altitude bombing was performed over cambodia... what i try to point out is that to "short" a quality issue is mere folly in the scheme of accruing wealth...many on this thread have lived thru "end of the equity markets forever" scenarios...all quality returns and sets higher highs... so how large is your short position, for that will tell me much about you and your beliefs... await your honest response...ed a. p.s.....why not concentrate on more ames(which is not a walmart type) instead of shorting an issue that you obviously no not much about???
