Simple, Greg. I'm interested enough to see how the story plays out. Right now, it is an interesting mystery with (probably) the next major "clue" to be the terms of the next financing. If I see somebody stepping up and buying shares at a fixed price, I may decide to buy in again. If it is to be more variable conversion junk, I may lose interest in this story entirely. I've got 18 months and a lot of sweat invested in the VLNC story, so I want to remain literate.

As far as the MVIS story, I'm just beginning my read. So far it is an interesting story as well.

Greg, how about "charity", you can also ask what keeps me posting on threads like Mohan, Asia, the floorless thread, the Semi Equip thread all of which it is impossible to take a "position in", long or short.

The truth is that one of these days, VLNC might be a candidate for the "Knights of the Multihorned Table" (as were GATE and Aksef another two companies that had troubles with floorless). I'll never catch that unique moment without monitoring the stock. Furthermore, if they manage to launch their production and get on the road to profitability, VLNC might be an excellent long term grower, the markets for their products is surely there and is going to grow, IMHO, much faster than the general economy. Right now, I have made a relatively "broad based" decision that I want to find a way to participate in the potential growth of "Portable Energy Storage Systems", and am patiently waiting to determine which of the various participants will be a winner. If it turns out to be Thomas and Betts, I'll get out (simply not the kind of company I think I want to be associated with), and wait for someone to come up with a good portable SMES. If VLNC turns out to be the potential winner, it will not be too late to enter even if the capitalization is $400 MM. If ULBI finally gets out from its current stupor, I'll increase my position there (it is still trading at discount to book, burn rate is minimal and decreasing and the unlikely event of failure of their poly-Li program, will not be catastrophic to the stock, because they have additional Li technology already on the shelves, and yes I have an awful loss of 10%, that bothers me less than the fact it registered a new low).

I have explained that position more than once before, so I hope it does not bore too many of those participant that remember these facts.

Greg, when you look at those simple facts, I think that my participation on this thread is not only rational on its own, but also help preserve a better IEI and thus a better outlook for the stock's future prospects. As for the false start last week and my flip flop from "today is the day" to the disappointment that it was not, do not blame me, I just read what the stock's action tells me, I am not causing the stock to disappoint.

What is irrational is the insistence of many of the "bulls" to comment on the fact that I post rather than on the facts or "assumptions" I discuss.

Good luck.
