Do you know how many ALCM's are sitting in a hanger
in Aviano?

Nearly all of them!

Feel safe?

In this situation, you might call me a dove. I can see no out for Clinton, now that he has committed US planes to bomb in Kosovo. This is a no win situation. I believe it has solidified certain countries in the enemies favor. Even those that were against Milosevic are now on his side. I do not believe the US can continually act as a police force through out the world without creating the ugly American attitude that a lot of former allies now have of the US.It seems that ground troops will be necessary in order to stop Milosevic. However, if Clinton does this he will aggravate the American people even more. I certainly would not want to commit my sons on such a mission. Sadly, these people have been fighting each other for years and now world peace is definitely threatened. After this battle is settled, there will be another one beginning. Where does it end?

<<<Things don't look so good to me. I think Clinton bit off more than he can chew.>>>>

Ditto.

I think eventually ground troops will be sent in. Which is very unfortunate indeed. I'm afraid it will be VN all over again, in a sense that we'll have many lives lost.

At least in VN it's just a civil war and US didn't really need to get involved, it's just that the government wanted VN as a strategic point in asia(my opinion only). It didn't have anything to do with the situation at present where there is mass killing and rape over in Kosovo. It's a case of, you're damn if you do and damn if you don't for the US.
