Earthdog, Sydney...re.IFMX pre-earnings moves...............

I do expect IFMX to move up in the next several weeks
as the momentum players jump in for the pre-earnings ride.
However, I don't think the rise will be quite as dramatic as it
has been in the past and this time I expect to see follow thru
after earnings. In the past we have seen the sharp run-up
prior to earnings driven primarily by the momentum players and
the accompanying short squeeze. Then after earnings, the momentum
crowd bails, and price falls off. As the new IFMX matures and
their earnings become more predictable, I expect to see less and
less of this gamesmanship and more consistent moves driven by
the more stable fund/money managers.

After earnings, I even expect to see some of the more astute
analysts start re-establishing their positions with new reports
and upgrades, as H&Q did recently. The clients of this firms
must be getting pretty frustrated right about now given the
"fence sitting, do nothing, say nothing" treatment they have
been getting for the past year. An analyst can only sit
on a fence for so long before his credibility fades.

I'm looking for the $10 to $11 range by earnings release, then
a plateau followed by a gradual increase to the $12 to $14
range by summer, continuing to the $15+ range by years end.
I personally prefer this type of company/earnings/price
stability over all the "gaming" and associated volatility
we have seen for the past year.
