Dave - NTT has a problem. They want to get going. If WCDMA isn't closer to reality than we've been led to believe, then they've got a long wait ahead of them, a wait for something which hasn't been demonstrated superior, an expensive wait because they'll have to spend a bunch of money to get all this new stuff to work, all for what?

Jeez Dave, arguments with you are boring since we seem to agree on everything. I agree that NTT, Vodafone and perhaps some other operators (especially those outside of Europe) will indeed be applying pressure to harmonize the CDMA modes. I just don't think Ericsson is going to do so.
