Merrill Lynch and many other investment firms understand financial data but not technology. Worse, they are not willing to admit they don't understand this stuff! So if you talk to one of their analysts, you'll find them inclined to go for bigger companies with more conventional technologies. As another indicator of what these stuffed shirt types tend to think is important, I note that this week's issue of BARRON'S, one of the top financial journals published by Dow Jones, contains not one single reference to the Q-E deal! That's good, because it simply gives us more opportunities to buy before they put in for their half million or so purchases.
