LT, why do you think web advertising doesn't work? Others think that too, I know it just isn't you. Fwiw, web ads work for me.... I opened an account with Discover brokerage and bought a few things as a result of ads. I wish the waiters on wheels would advertise a thai menu or something different and then I would be interested if it were around dinner. Of course at this stage web ads are kind of simplistic but they will improve... don't you think?

Humbly report, LT, once again may I humbly urge you to thoroughly research GNET before further posting here?

But humble thanks for the history lesson. I'm sure none of us knew anything about 1929, or the rest of your irrelevant drivel. Don't see how we could have crossed the street without you showing up here.

Hint: Not the first time we've heard that lesson. Ask Auric Goldfinger - he also tried to preach it to us - a long time ago. You can still find his one word "Uncle" post on this thread - #reply-8257501.

Heads up: Lots of moron threads on SI - this ain't one of 'em.

Cheers,

Svejk
