Well thought and reasonable. Might even work with Russian led peace-keeping (atrocity stopping) forces to police in the aftermath.

If we continue we run the great risk of losing the alliances we have formed in the middle east. Iraq is trying to get involved to create Arab unity with them again. This is a trap that Clinton must avoid in my opinion. Pass the buck and let Russia save some face on a world scale. We would retain our position as the leader of the world and an impartial enforcer of human rights. Give Russia the economic incentive to go in and settle this. We are going to end up giving them aide anyway might as well get something from it.
