Brian and Trufflette, Agree with both of you.
IMO, MSFT holds the upper hand in this trial. However, I would say that the DOJ has their principles. I am very suspicious of the states and their motives and reasons for getting involved----I suspect a lot of lobbying by competitors based in some of the key states like New York and California. I see a rift in the future among these parties.

The motivation of these AGs is "MONEY". If Microsoft gave $5million to each of the AG of the 19 states privately under the table, the case will easily be settled. For the time being, Microsoft, the consumers are just held as hostages of these AGs, it is abuse of constitutional power.
