Regarding theories about EBAY dropping, if it gaps down big, I will buy in. Too many people will short the "sure thing" that EBAY is going to crash because of Amazon.com and of course it will therefore not happen.

There's always risk, and
valuation is difficult to assess; but look back two years, and then try looking forward ten.
Will Amazon.com be "lucky" to still be a leader in Internet retail? Will they be "lucky"
to find a way to turn 5% net profits?


This is a non event argument. AMZN will not turn profits. Trust me.
