hunchback,

On the Bloomberg radio network (I think), there is an afternoon radio call in show hosted by a Ken and Daria Dolan. Your question regarding old mining certificates (or old stock certificates) has been asked many times on air. These folks have a source (or multiple sources) of information. If memory serves, one source was a periodic publication that may or may not be available in your local library. I'd suggest that you or a family member call your local radio station that carries their daily (Monday to Friday) program and find out how to become a live participant in their show. The cost would be limited to that of the telephone call, and for all I know, it may be a 1-800 number. Good luck and let us know when you get some information.
