Dear Night Rider,
I just dropped into this thread hoping to pick up some news
on CPQ's upcoming announcement and was very sorry to read about
your dog. You are so right not to tell your wife what to do.

I feel very qualified to speak here for I am just now on somewhat
of the mend from losing my precious kitty (10 1/2 years) to
squameous cell carcinoma under the tongue. In September of '98
I had SEVEN vets want to "put her down". She died near the end of
January and the pain did not actually set in until the last 30
hours. What she and I went through together is probably the most heart wrenching and gratifying experience I will probably ever have. You see most vets are not into long term care and most
vets do not know what to do with life threatening diseases except
cut, poke needles and give pills. (I have heard that it is
also this way with human "vets"!). Anyway, give your wife all the
support you can. It sounds as if you are. My darling Marilyn
was always my perfect companion. When I learned that she had cancer she immediately became my child. Now she is my angel.

I have done so much research in her particular area. That is
why I speak with authority. As for grieving, I am learning about that day by day. Please have your wife email me if she desires.

I found some fabulous holistic vets in our country but it was too
late in our case.

Now to business.... (I have not dropped in on the CPQ thread yet.... it is always sooooo loooooong)...any news on the earnings
announcement coming up?

I wish you, your family and your doggie all the very best. You
will be in my prayers.
