There's nothing better than downloading at 500K, the quality of video and sound are excellent, much better than 56K.

As far as the sea launch, you had a choice to view it a 28 or 56K from RealPlayer, so my cable modem didn't help much.

I use Winamp for all music, again the sound and quality are excellent. I've only used Winamp with a cable modem so I can't compare it to 28/56K, but there's no doubt that the fatter the pipe the better the quality...
