TO ALL ABOUT pAUL: I would like to call attention to two of the most recent posts on the "Clubhouse" thread. Not that pAUL really deserves the singling out and apparently preoccupation that this discussion would imply, but insights gained might help some others in putting him into perspective and, as well as the tactics, that he employs. Note the fact that pAUL attempted to redefine (unsuccessfully I should add) what I had said and provoke me to defend a position that I had never taken. If you take him seriously, and I try never to do that any more, he can be extremely frustrating. I have seen people respond to him with logical well thought out arguments, only to have him go on the attack over a distorted corner of something that they did not really say. Once you have been dragged by his illogical and frequently insulting chatter onto "his turf" (a big mistake) you are lost. You will not win. Do not let it happen.

Looking at the the larger picture, we are not so unlucky as some on this thread appear to often exhibit feelings of. Just ignore him. Skip the nonsense unless you can, hopefully with a sense of humor, enjoy sparing with him. But, lately, I have found that to be much more boring than any real challenge. He has become so lame.

Further, we are actually very lucky when compared to some. Imagine if you had to deal with him personally, first-hand in a professional situation as a co-worker, subordinate, or (GOD FORFEND) a superior. I am sure that has happened to some hapless souls in the past. (at iNTEL no doubt) He also probably has neighbors and relatives (good grief what a terrible thought to have to deal with him personally on any regular basis). Gosh, he might even have some lifetime partner.

Maybe.....Maybe....That is why he seems to spend so much time haunting us.

Just a few of my thoughts.

Regards,

DARBES
