Spider, will you please document here where your information regarding AZNT is accurate. From the 10K: Acquiring the Plants The Company acquires its plants from Amazon Natural Treasures Commercial Inportadora Exportadora LTDA ("ANTCIE"),(this is a private corporation and is not AZNT) a Brazilian corporation which is owned by Michael Sylver, the Company's President and Treasurer, Domingos Loricchio Jr., the Company's Senior Executive Vice-President, Director and Secretary, and Carlos Franco. The transactions between the Company and ANTCIE are more favorable to the Company than can be obtained from independent third parties. ANTCIE acquires its plants from Brazilian Indians and other sources who the Company understands gather and/or acquire the same in or from the Brazilian Rain Forest where the plants grow wild. These items are also obtained from Brazilian plantations where specific plants are grown. Some products are obtained from independent manufacturers. ANTCIE is a Brazilian corporation formed for the purpose of transacting business in Brazil. As the Company has been instructed, under Brazilian law, only Brazilian corporations can export or import products from Brazil. Because of the complicated nature of the laws in Brazil, it was expeditious for the Company to have individual shareholders for ANTCIE rather than incorporating ANTCIE as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. No fees or compensation, other than disclosed herein, are paid to ANTCIE for transacting business in Brazil on behalf of the Company. The Company only reimburses ANTCIE for its out of pocket expenses. The Company also acquires semi-processed products through ANTCIE from native Brazilians known as Coboclos and finished products from third party manufacturers. In the case of the finished products, independent manufac-turers are utilized to produce a finished product formulated for use by the Company. aznt has an export license. 1000 hecacres of land was officially granted to aznt in a deed of trust. of course aznt can never sell this land & they are on record as "the only american company to be granted such land in brazil". you claim madera "owns" land in the brazilian rainforest. i ask you for the 'caveats' to that "ownership". also, even with an export license, aznt is required to wait up to 2 months at a crack to transport materials into the u.s.. all revenues generated in manaus must remain in brazil & go to pay the bills for the manaus facilities.
