A friend asked:

"wondering if you might know where I could get historical option quotes for various US securities? I was thinking of trying a sort of put/call ratio as an input to some neural networks."

Anyone know of a site that offers this?

TIA

I am happy to see you are including some more "name brand" stocks in your lists Dave. At least with the name brands ... if you (anyone) buys and the stock goes down, rather than the expected up, mostly ya just wait a few days and they do rally back. With the no name brands ... like DDIM and GMGC ... the momos' ... well you just don't have that confidence ... that is one of the reasons ... I have been slowly changing my selection of trading vehicles to the better known symbols.
I did not take offence at your watch/short of U, but think the risk : vs : reward is much better long. This is called feedback.

currently 47 3/16
if short
risk: to 55 ... 8 dollars
reward to 45 ... 2 dollars

if you wish to short ... maybe short when a stock hits resistance
go long when it bounces off the support line

and since others possibly follow the lists, I would hate for anyone to take an unnescessary risk.
