Thanks Wojo... I found my answer. I had to disable my secondary card from the device manager to get a successful boot the next time around. It appears that with my particular bios I need to turn off the onboard video bios (in setup) so there's no conflict with the secondary display on boot up... everything works perfectly again. Life is good! Thanks for your reply!
