Was this three day old news posted here yet? I missed it if it was. NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Officials at the Nasdaq stock market approved a new rule Thursday that will let the exchange halt trading of a company's stock before notifying the company itself. Overruling its own advisory panel, the National Association of Securities Dealers board voted to allow regulators to stop trading any time there is news that affects the ability of investors to conduct "fair and orderly" trades. cnnfn.com

I am trying to rejuvenate the "Trading for a Living" thread: Subject 21097 I would welcome any input or discussion that the readers of this thread have regarding the challenges of daytrading as a career. What should new budding daytraders know? What knowledge can we help them to understand? What do you wish you knew when you were just starting to daytrade?
