Re: FGI --

Hi K,
<<"FGI still has short position of over 3 mil shares as of 3/8/99. Clerical error?">>>

A lot of water under the bridge since 3/8.... The Short Interest figures are frustrating in that they are always out of date. I wonder if anyone knows of any way to get around this? The 'offical' reporting of Short Interest is one thing, but I'll bet there is some other way of looking at this --- any ideas????

Re: FGI --- Back in the beginning of Feb, I re-posted here this message from the now-defunct Yahoo! Oil Services Board, in which Bob Bowker makes the case against FGI. IF there is a large FGI Short Interest, this might explain how the Shorts are reasoning. Whether right or wrong, I don't know.
(I have No position in FGI.
I am Long a big pile of VRC, which I like much better, BWDIK?)
