Compare: CheckFree vs. Inktomi CheckFree is the backend for bill pay, While Inktomi is the backend for search engines. techstocks.com Stats... company sales earn shrs p/s mkt cap. ------------------------------------------------------ CheckFree 59.6 -0.2 52.6 8.8 2089.0 Inktomi 10.7 -5.8 47.7 88.4 3791.8 For CheckFree to trade at INKT valuation, CheckFree would have to trade at 10 times its current price. I'm not saying CF is undervalued, but I do believe INKT is overvalued. I do believe both of the companies have similar strategies on the internet..provide backend transactions on the internet while allowing their services to be branded. Benny(just have not seen any analyst make this comparision)
