Dear John: Whats the concern anyhow? If you go back several months you will find me posting that EMC ought to be around $200 by 2,000 if CEO revenue predictions hold out. Looks like if anything they will exceed his original forecasts and may get to 200 this year instead of next. If the pundits are correct and it retracts for a moment seems to me only time to buy. I see no reason to sell at all--this one looks as close to a guarantee as you will ever get in the equity markets. JDN

To all: Earnings. Any chance that revenue and earnings for the first quarter will be better than the 1998 fourth quarter? For the last two years the first quarter was the only quarter that didn't have sequential improvement in revenue and earnings. Any reason for this?
