Business Wire - March 29, 1999 08:35

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 1999--Prodigy Communications
Corporation (NASDAQ NMS: PRGY) announced today that Prodigy Business Solutions has
teamed up with HotOffice Technologies, Inc. to offer a co-branded version of the
award-winning HotOffice(TM) Web-Based Intranet Service to Prodigy's small and mid-sized

The software enables business customers to create their own Intranet and use them to
communicate and collaborate internally via the World Wide Web.

As part of the agreement, Prodigy will market and distribute HotOffice from the Prodigy
Business Solutions Web site at www.prodigybusiness.com, via direct mail, online and in print
advertising. HotOffice in turn will provide a co-branded version of HotOffice that will include
links to the Prodigy Business Solutions Website, enabling Prodigy to cross-merchandise its
existing offerings.

"Prodigy's Internet expertise and Web hosting services, together with HotOffice, offers
customers the all-in-one solution for turning the Web into a powerful business tool for a
company of any size," said Jim Dougherty, general manager of Prodigy Business Solutions.

empowers them to compete and grow their business."

"HotOffice is an ideal complement to Prodigy's new focus on the small business marketplace,"
said Michael Franz, chairman and CEO of HotOffice Technologies, Inc. "Prodigy provides
