Checked with my broker Buyers are lining up current quote is $16.25 with around 70000 on the buy side versus 64000 on the sell. I guess as we approach the market opening the price will being to firm. From the looks of it lot of interest on the buying side (like I said before people will be rebuilding their position closed on friday). Let's see what happens in next 25 minutes..

Regards,

Godin has vehemently denied to be in any talks with EBAY. I believe him. If memory serves me, he didn't comment any further that BII wasn't in any talks whatsoever. So, AMAZON is a strong possibility.

With Amazon entering the auction market, this will clearly put pressure on ebay to expand and expand fast. Ebay has to qucikly increase its revenue growth. Their 1998 revenue was $48 million US. If they paid a measly $1 billion US for bid.com, they will get bid.com's revenue stream which was $14 million US. That is one hell of a buy for ebay. This is why I think there will be a bidding war for bid.com!!!!!!!!!
