One reason "you don't see that happening" with Specialists is because it is a closed little club. WHO's TO KNOW? There's only ONE specialist. But in fact there was, just about six months ago, a huge expose' when some computer records fell into the wrong (the right) hands and a long-standing scheme of front-running with duplicity among several specialists and other sell-side members came to light. These were just the one's that GOT CAUGHT! And they only got caught after YEARS of their little front-running party, because some computer files fell into the hands of someone outside of the circle. Go read the S.I. Richard Ney thread I referred to yesterday if you have any interest in learning about the specialist concept. Colin
