One of the most interesting conversations I had over the weekend was with Dean Barnes of HouseHold Direct. I described to him my impressions of the promotional meeting I attended at the UCC Total Home Club that my wife and I visited. To my knowledge not one person left that meeting without at least sitting down to discuss the possibility of joining that club to secure a wholesale buying club membership. That being said I told Dean that there were several minor improvements that I thought would have made the presentation more effective. Guess what? HouseHold Direct is already doing these things and more at their private buying club locations. I was really pleased. Regards, Jeff
