I am not yet a holder of Loral, but I hope to be shortly. I have been following this group's discussions for some time, and there is clearly a great deal of knowledge represented here. I know next to nothing about technology, but I do know a bit about communications, as I have a small PR firm. From my perspective, all of Loral's news releases are far too complex. You folks may be able to understand them, but very few others can. Valueman just posted a news release that could only be understood by someone with serious technical knowledge. Individual investors do play a role in bidding up stocks. It's easy to understand what Amazon, Dell and AOL do--even if the valuations for Internet stocks are absurd. On the other hand, it is quite difficult for the average investor to understand what Loral's various components do and why one should invest. Just my two cents. Jim
