I sympathize, John. It's such a helpless feeling........

John: Now that SUNW has been, as you note, "discovered," what we view as "nosebleed territory" might very well have to be redefined. Look at the PE CSCO has commanded over time. Right now CSCO has a PE of 128 and SUNW, 52. Even look at DELL, which still has a PE of 72! Compared to CSCO and other high fliers, SUNW looks cheap.

So... just tilt your head back and put a cold wash cloth on your forehead for a while.

What do we do??????? Very good Q

I would hang on. Reason: There seems to be a battle swinging in SUNW's favor. I think only people in that battle, the top managements of the involved companies can judge it as they can see what goes on as it goes on. But they will talk to the big money people and thus it gets reflected in the market.

I can not judge the merits of the battle. I am a value guy, but here I go by gut. That gut feeling was greatly influenced by Scott's answer to a reporter who doubted Scott's ability to think strategically.

Scott: “Just wait and see”. His confidence is convincing, to me.

Being Value oriented, I am not buying more, though.
