if you want to see some real shorts in action, you need to go look around on some of the otc-bb stock threads. everywhere you look there is a scam stock going up on hype and the shorts are all over it. easy money. i wouldn't blame shorts for the recent decline in ancr. maybe when it hit 9 but not now. i think it's simply a lack of buyers until ancr proves it can land a more substantual deal. correct my math if i'm wrong: a stock price of 5 and eps of .10 yields a pe of 50. for an eps of .10, earnings must be $2.4mil+. revenue would have to be well north of $20mil. do 5 small oem deals add up to $20mil-$30mil revenue for '99? ancr is probably fairly valued IMO.
