No question we need OEM's, I'm just saying that at this point in time, an OEM presence and not a TNT like deluge may be more profitable for them. I'm thinking downside given the 2000 is not necessarily a compelling OEM choice in the market they're trying to serve - lots' of competition. No point in dumping it to get maximum distribution. Retail oriented OEM's such as Gateway know the value of 3dfx given their past experience. Dell on the other hand is looking for cheap boards. I think the current product mix is going to get them both retail and OEM. I'm just saying that I don't think they're looking for (and we shouldn't expect) a clean sweep for this product cycle. The Sept. 3000/4000 combination sounds like it has more potential (along with Rampage?) for a much stronger push all around. ATI sold 15 million boards, if 3dfx could sell anywhere near that $$$$$$$.
