Hi Peter, very sorry about your shorted calls, I know how it felt and I hope that you are feeling better now.

Anyway, as to my decision for this morning:

I left for a vacation on 3/19 with the box at 200Long/300Short; and "mentally" the last 100 shares was sold at $138. I had a 100 shares limit buy @113 on 3/18. (and had two limit sells)

Last Wednesday, during the market dip, while Amzn was down below $115, I changed the limit buy to a market buy of 150 shares simply coz that it was very close to $113, and the only access I had was a touch tone phone for price quotes and orders/changes.

So this morning I was 350Long/300short. To sell 100 shares at $151 was wonderful for me. (don't laugh) I will sell another 100 shares at $157 1/2. If Amzn does not go there, then I may buy back the 100 shares at $143 today. Tomorrow morning, if I am able to stay with the market, then will make another set of the decisions.

The above does not make much sense, but so far it works and I have approx. $23K realized Amzn profit for 1999.
